Terms and Conditions
Before applying for a course, the individual must ensure they follow their school/establishment protocol and procedure for course applications which may include, where appropriate, obtaining authorisation to attend from the school and/or Local Authority.
1. Payment
Payment may be made before or after a course has run. Whatever preference is chosen, our cancellation policy remains applicable and you will be liable to pay any cancellation fees incurred.2. Cancelling a placement
The following charges will apply if you wish to cancel a course:
21 + days: No charge
7-20 days: 50% of course fee
Less than 7 days/non attendance: 100% of course fee3. Substitute delegates
Substitutes may be made at any time including on the day of the course. No fee will be incurred.4. Transferring to another course
A placement may only be transferred once.
No charges will apply if you wish to cancel a course and transfer to an earlier date.
The following charges will apply if you wish to cancel a course and transfer to a later date:
8 + days: No charge
1-7 days: 50% of course fee5. Change of course dates and venues
Schoolskills Ltd. reserve the right to change course dates and venues without liability. Delegates will be offered the opportunity to attend the re-scheduled date/venue. In the unlikely event that this has been necessary, the following options are available:
You accept the re-scheduled placement
You decline the re-scheduled placement and any monies paid by you in advance are fully reimbursed6. Exceptions/mitigation
Schoolskills Ltd. may, at its own discretion, reduce /waive cancellation fees; for instance in the event of a placement being cancelled as a result of notification for Ofsted. However non attendance without prior notification will always incur full cancellation charges.7. Statutory Rights
Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected by these Terms & Conditions
