iiiiAn enjoyable, realistic, practical and down to earth one-day course for all Middle and Secondary school Cover Supervisors who iiiiwish to improve or enhance their classroom and behaviour management skills. The course should also be beneficial to NQT’s, iiiioverseas staff and colleagues on the Graduate Teacher Programme.

managing angry, aggressive and challenging students.

'USING CREATIVE ARTS WITH TROUBLED

support staff and all people working with iiiichildren
and young people. School is a powerful, proactive factor where relationships
with adults are most important in iiiihelping
young people explore and resolve issues. To this end, participants
will have an opportunity to explore a range of iiiiCreative
Arts through a fun and informative day.

'LOSS AND BEREAVEMENT' (09.30-15.30)
iiiiEvery
major loss will inevitably disrupt the development of self-esteem,
the smooth progression of life and the sense that iiiievents
are predictable and meaningful. This one day course for teachers and
support staff will examine theories of loss and iiiibereavement
including the stages of grief. The key focus will be the exploration
and experience of strategies and responses to iiiiguide
students through the process of loss.
